Create Custom Analytics Panels

You can focus your research by creating panels of specific target proteins of interest for which BioFinder has Predictive Analytics models. The models and the results will also indicate the organism associated with the protein.

Create New Panel

  1. On the Predictive Sets page, click the Panels button.

  2. On the Panels page, click the Create New Panel button.

  3. Rename the panel (or use the default), add an optional description, and then click the Create Panel button.

  4. Next, select search for/select the target protein models you want to include in the panel. Clicking the i (information) icon displays a Confusion Matrix that provides statistical insight in the model's quality. Click the Save Panel button when you're ready to proceed.

The new panel appears on the Panels page with the CAS panels and any other panels they may have created.

Copy/Edit Existing Panel

  1. On the Predictive Sets page, click the desired panel's Copy icon.

  2. Rename the panel (or use the default) and edit the description if desired, and then click the Save button.

  3. The copied panel appears on the Panels page; click the Edit icon.

  4. You can then add or remove selected targets to customize the panel. Click the Save Panel button to finish.
